Portable Counter-Terrorism Device Unveiled
With a significant increase in vehicle bombs, bio and chemical threats and other criminal activities that require vehicle checkpoints, inspections or vehicle stopping security, PMG Inc. recently unveiled the portable TRAP (Temporary Roadblock Apparatus Pack) as its newest tool in the global war on terrorism.
Designed to multi-task as a remote controlled or manned checkpoint, access gate, roadblock, detour and high security perimeter control device, the TRAP deters vehicles from entering secure or hazardous areas without approval and consists of a Battery Operated Barrier (B.O.B.), tire shredding Road Blades and a Traffic Guard portable speed bump which all deploy in just minutes. When used by the military, law enforcement, government, corporate and security services, the TRAP dramatically increases personnel safety by minimizing exposure to dangerous vehicles by instantly flattening all tires of an offending vehicle providing personnel time to react, or by serving as a remote control sentry in environments too hazardous for humans. The barrier, blades or bump can all be deployed individually as well for versatility and with its optional wireless camera, the TRAP allows for remote viewing of drivers and a cursory inspection of vehicles before letting them proceed.
